The Background Characters, also sometimes classified as "redshirts", are who linger in the background during episodes while the main characters are engaged in the story. These characters usually have no part in the main storyline and perform normal, everyday, non-crucial actions.
Background characters are usually left unnamed, have no speaking roles, and/or are uncredited.

These residents are briefly seen during the Red Wedding and make their more prominent appearances in the courtyard of Ironrath. They are unnamed, have no speaking role and/or had non-crucial actions. And a majority of them are reused models or use assets from one model to the other.

These sellswords are seen when Asher Forrester visits Daenerys Targaryen at her camp, at the fighting pit, or at Ironrath for the final battle. They are unnamed, have no speaking role and/or had non-crucial actions. And a majority of them are reused models or use assets from one model to the other.

- "The Sword in the Darkness" - He is seen in the background talking to another Sellsword as Asher, Beskha and Malcolm arrive at camp to see Croft. He is also one of the Sellswords who pin Asher when Croft pretends to harm him.

- "The Sword in the Darkness" - He is seen in the background talking to another Sellsword as Asher, Beskha and Malcolm arrive at camp to see Croft.
- "Sons of Winter" - He is in Daenerys' when Asher, Beskha and Malcolm first visit to discuss her dragon. Later he can be seen escorting Malcolm around the camp when Asher and Beskha ready for the mission to Meereen, but is then seen in the Daenerys' tent again to discuss the battle plan; where his name is revealed to be Kieran.

- "The Sword in the Darkness" - He is seen in the background walking as Asher, Beskha and Malcolm arrive at camp to see Croft. He is then seen restraining Malcolm from behind when Croft pretends to harm Asher.

- "The Sword in the Darkness" - He is seen in the background walking with a horse as Asher, Beskha and Malcolm arrive at camp to see Croft. He is also one of the Sellswords who pin Asher when Croft pretends to harm him.

- "A Nest of Vipers" - He can be seen in the background in camp when Asher and Beskha are walking to Daenerys' tent to report the result of the mission. He is also one of the pit fighters in the crowd alongside the rest of them when Asher and Beskha visit to hire soldiers.
Sellsword #11[]
- "A Nest of Vipers" - He is first seen stabbing a fellow pit fighter and takes their gold purse and is one of the pit fighters to go to Westeros with Asher.
Sellsword #12[]
- "A Nest of Vipers" - He is first seen chatting with a fellow Sellsword in camp when Asher and Beskha are walking to Daenerys' tent to report the result of the mission. He can then be seen fighting the Whitehills in Westeros when they are trapped.
- "The Ice Dragon" - Despite being presumably killed in his entrapment alongside Asher/Rodrik, he is still alive and assists in battle.
