Tonight any man who wishes to be free may take that freedom from the grip of his master. You may clear a path for them, but they must walk it alone.
— Daenerys Targaryen to Asher.

Daenerys Targaryen, sometimes nicknamed Dany is a supporting character and the Mother of Dragons, the last known living Targaryen and a Khaleesi of the Dothraki. Her voice and likeness is provided by Emilia Clarke.

Character[]

Daenerys has evolved from a timid, submissive girl to a confident, strong-willed, and competent young woman. She is a skilled and charismatic leader, though due to her young age, she is inexperienced in ruling. She firmly believes herself to be the rightful ruler of Westeros and is determined to reclaim the Iron Throne for her House. Dany is far more benevolent than most rulers, being genuinely caring of her people's well-being. She abhors slavery, making it her secondary mission to eradicate the practice wherever she goes. She is fiercely protective of those who are loyal or helpful to her, and of her dragons, whom she considers to be her 'children'. However, she can also be proud and stubborn, and is ruthless when dealing with her enemies.

Game Of Thrones[]

"The Sword in the Darkness"[]

Croft sets up a meeting for Asher Forrester to meet with her about her dragon, Drogon. As Asher walks in, she advises him to choose his words carefully if he is to speak of her dragons.

"Sons of Winter"[]

Daenerys interrogates Asher, Beskha and Malcolm Branfield, asking how she can trust their description of their encounter with Drogon. No matter how Asher puts it, Daenerys takes the news badly and thinks Asher's group attacked Drogon first.

However, Asher's group can earn her trust by helping with the liberation of Meereen. Asher or Malcolm bring up that Beskha knows the city - to the latter's despair - and Daenerys decides that Asher and Beskha will help with the infiltration while Malcolm stays behind as a hostage.

Later Asher and Beskha return to Daenerys's tent to go over the plan with Croft and some of his men.

"A Nest of Vipers"[]

Daenerys appears and offers Asher a reward if he listens to Croft. If Asher defied Croft but explains that Beskha was a Slave, she will still offer him gold out of sympathy, even though Beskha will criticize him for doing so afterwards. If he doesn't reveal it, Daenerys will be disappointed and will offer nothing. She then asks to keep Malcom to help her, to which he agrees. As well as that, she will also either praise or criticize Asher for killing, let Beskha kill, or spare Dezhor zo Raza on their mission.
