House Whitehill cut down all of the trees around Rob's farm for themselves. As Rodrik Forrester and Duncan Tuttle come to the farm to treat with Gwyn Whitehill, they are dismayed by the sight of the barren trees. Rodrik bitterly condemnds the Whitehills for what they've done to Rob's farm.
