We don't know who you are until we see you bleed.
— The Beast in A Nest of Vipers

"The Beast" is a character who appeared in the episode "A Nest Of Vipers". He was a Pit Fighter whom his master only fed when he won a fight - he claims to have won every time, hence his size and weight.

Character[]

The Beast, as his name suggests, is quite brash, violent, sadistic, and aggressive, based on how he is facing off against Asher Forrester in one screenshot. In the back of what can be assumed is his home are several heads on a table, suggesting he is very dangerous and hostile. It is also implied that he is a cannibal, as when he smiles devilishly when Amaya threatens to "rip [Asher] to pieces and feed it to the Beast".

"A Nest of Vipers"[]

The Beast is the first major pit fighter Asher runs into. It is tough to impress him, but Asher Forrester can do so by being violent with him. Regardless of whether Asher befriends him or not the Beast will take him to Amaya, taking a back seat while they talk.

When Asher wins the pit fight, the Beast seems impressed and excited to join the army that will attack the Whitehills.

When Asher and Beskha wait at the ship for any pit fighters to join them, Beast shows up along with Amaya, Bloodsong (if spared) and several other nameless pit fighters.

Once they reach Westeros and leave the ship, Beast complains that it is ugly and small, Amaya adds that it's freezing too. Unfortunately he is trapped in the courtyard after a Whitehill soldier sabotages the gate. He tries to lift it, but it's stuck. Several Whitehills shoot him in the back with crossbows but he shrugs it off, turning around and heading for the wheel that will raise the gate. As he makes progress, Gryff Whitehill makes a silent order to Harys by pointing at him, who runs to him and throws a spear that impales Beast through the side of the abdomen, killing him. His corpse can be seen when the player must make a choice to sacrifice either Asher or Rodrik.
